Mr. Brodie Lee comes out, ready to defend the title against Dustin Rhodes in a revenge match. Dustin really wants to avenge the loss of his younger brother, Cody, but it won’t be easy. The only loss on the record of Lee is to the champion, Jon Moxley.
Where’s Evil Uno?! Hopefully he will come out to celebrate if Lee defends successfully. Dustin attacks early, blindsiding Lee and not allowing any pre-match taunting. What a brawl to start this match!
They are outside the ring and Dustin is not holding back, using every hardcore tactic to try to take the title away from the leader of the Dark Order. Inside of the ring, Lee takes control with his superior strength, but Dustin is fighting hard to try to overcome this force.
Dustin is having a great showing against the champion, but the strength of Lee is a huge factor. The majority of the action is from Dustin, but Lee is still kicking out with conviction. He lands the Crossroads to get a near fall. There is high drama in this main event.
Lee lands a power bomb for a near fall. Dustin, once again, takes control. His experience is showing. John Silver tries to interfere but gets tossed out of there. A pile driver leads to another near fall. What does Dustin have to do to take this title?
Lee lands a couple of hard kicks and the lariat to successfully defend the title in a very tough match. Evil Uno is there! Colt Cabana shows up and is kicked out of the ring. Lee is still upset with Cabana and Uno is still looking out for him. This is interesting.
