Moses Itauma, 1-0, 1 KO, won his pro debut with incredibly ease. It took 23 seconds for Itauma to impose himself on the visibly terrified Marcel Bode, 2-2, 2 KO’s. A left hand hurt Bode early and the fight would end with a shot that landed on the gloves of Bode, who was looking for the nearest exit.
There wasn’t much to see here, but after the Fletcher fight, this was a welcomed change. Itauma did what he needed to do and new heavyweight blood is always good. I look forward to see what he does when he faces opponents that want to fight back.
