MJF comes out to the ring with Wardlow, ready for his match with Billy Gunn. Billy Gunn is much larger and it comes into play early but MJF quickly uses dirty tactics to take the advantage. Gunn is in tremendous shape for a veteran and still has it.
After a beat down, MJF decides to leave the ring and take the count out loss, but Gunn runs back and carries him back. The Ass Man is dominating but some leg strikes change the flow and MJF uses his classic heel moves to take over the match. I wish Billy Gunn could still come out to that Ass Man song from DX times.
MJF stays true to his focused attack approach, doing serious damage to the leg of Gunn and Wardlow also gets in his shots too. Gunn regains momentum and starts using his punches and overall size advantage to get some things done. His damaged leg is making it difficult to land his Fame-Asser.
Gunn lands the Fame-Asser but Wardlow interrupts the count. MJF puts on his ring and readies himself for a cheap shot win. He lands the KO punch with the ring to get the 1-2-3 and the victory.
