Adrien Broner needs to keep his mind focused for his upcoming showdown with Filipino mega star, Manny Pacquiao, but focus has never been a strong point for him. This past Sunday, Broner was arrested in Broward County, Florida, for not appearing in court earlier this month. It is the result of a 2017 incident where he was driving with no driver’s license, speeding, and no registration or insurance.
Broner is heading into the biggest opportunity of his career and a lot of people are planning to make a lot of money on this PPV showdown. Broner’s lack of discipline has always been his biggest weakness and there is a possibility that he could be locked up come fight night if this behavior persists and if another demon from the past arises.
With the arrest and a lawsuit filed against him for over a million dollars for an unpaid jewelry bill, the smart money that was on Manny became even smarter. There is too much going on in the life to distract a fighter that is easily distracted. Look for Manny to take the easy UD if Broner can stay out of jail and make it to the fight.
