Kip Sabian came down to the ring with Penelope Ford to take on Chuck Taylor of “Best Friends” along with Orange Cassidy. Sabian and Ford are coming into their own and gaining steam in AEW. They are just a great heel team with Ford proving effective outside the ring when the referee isn’t looking and she got her licks in against Taylor whenever he found himself outside of the ring.
Orange Cassidy is hilarious as usual with his very casual approach to the game. You can see the joy that he has being part of AEW, constantly smiling when he’s outside the ring. He’s impossible not to like. He’s just hilarious and adds a lot to the Best Friends.
After some great spots by Ford and Cassidy, Jimmy Havoc interfered to help his friend, Sabian, take the victory. It was a great match all around and gives more momentum to Sabian going into the TNT Championship tournament.
