Jon Moxley talks about his FULL GEAR “I Quit” match against Eddie Kingston. I like the match, but it’s hard to see it as a PPV main event. Kingston just isn’t a threat to the champion. There’s not a lot of question as to who will win this one.
Stepping in for his partner, Joey Janela, Sonny Kiss gets the opportunity in the AEW world title eliminator tournament against Kenny Omega. This is a pretty big mismatch, but Kiss will do his best to pull the upset.
Omega comes out in style to say the least. Two incredibly attractive women in bikinis are dancing to introduce him and I would have zero issue with that being the norm from now on. Hell, AEW is very much like WCW…let’s get some Nitro Girls, or Dynamite Girls.
In 10 seconds, Omega lands the V Trigger and One Winged Angel to get the 1-2-3. Wow. What an impressive and quick win. Omega helps Sonny Kiss up and then tells him good job, but considering that it ended so quickly, I don’t think Sonny felt good about it.
