I’m not a fan of Marko Stunt, but his promo work is pretty good. He did a good job in his promo leading up to this match with the leader of the Dark Order, Brodie Lee. Brodie Lee has really found his own as the exalted one of the order and his offense is so believable and devastating. He came out strong and just beat Stunt down.
Jericho kept making references to the bad booking of WWE with Brodie Lee and he’s right. AEW is showing exactly what this former WWE talent could have been with a little freedom and without a team of clueless writers.
A powerbomb ends the massacre with a 1-2-3 for Brodie Lee in a one-sided destruction of Marko Stunt. Lee will probably hold the gold in the near future.
Jon Moxley made a major announcement as he noted that AEW Dynamite is live next week. Moxley stated that he will be there and ready to go as they lead into Double or Nothing. He ended the segment with a demand that the viewers check on their grandmothers. It was great.
