Jeff Hardy is the guy that you want to root for and is a very likable and personable guy, but his demons have once again come knocking. Hardy was arrested in Florida for several charges with the most serious one being a DUI where his blood alcohol level was 3 times the legal limit.
This could and probably will lead to some serious prison time considering his past charges with the same issue. This is bad timing and a sad situation because Hardy recently signed with AEW and was having his final run with his brother, Matt, in the tag team division.
Hopefully, the judge will get Hardy into serious treatment and he can somehow defeat this monster that he’s been fighting for years. It’s unlikely that he will get that offer, but as a fan of Hardy, I’m hoping so.
Whatever the case, it’s fair to say that AEW will kill the deal with Hardy, but that’s the least of his problems.
