In a very tough and close fight, Jake Paul, 4-0, 3 KO’s, won a split decision over Tyron Woodley, 0-1, by scores of 77-75, 78-74 and 75-77. I had it even, but this is not a controversial decision. This fight could have gone either way.
Early on, Paul owned the action, winning the first 3 rounds, but in round 4, it would turn around. Woodley came on and got some things done, including nearly knocking Paul down. In round 5, Paul landed a left hook to fend off the attack of Woodley and the fight was relatively even down the stretch.
In the end, the fight could have gone either way. Paul showed his heart in round five as he rebounded and fought on. This was actually a very entertaining fight and card overall. Jake Paul provided a good PPV and a good undercard. You don’t see that often.
