Darby Allin, the TNT Champion, comes to the ring, followed shortly by his future tag team partner, Sting. Tony Schiavone announces that Allin will be defending his title against Joey Janela. Team Taz has been banned from the building, but they make a statement outside of the building that they are going to interfere in the Janela match.
Sting grabs the microphone and says that he will make sure the match with Janela will be a one on one encounter. It’s great to see Sting back. He’s starting to find some of his old magic. Maybe the return of Robocop would help him.
Thunder Rosa – Dr. Britt Baker promo and these are two of the best female wrestlers in the game today. Baker didn’t want this match and comes out to the ring all business. Rosa immediately attacks and takes the early edge.
Rosa’s offense is so believable and she is being brutal in this match. There is plenty of bad blood. Baker finally gets the momentum and gets some things done outside of the ring, but Rosa turns it around and this match is a near hardcore bout.
Rosa is just putting on the punishment. This match has been mostly Rosa but Baker gets it turned around and got a few near falls on Rosa. She is trying to get the Lockjaw in, but Rosa gets out of it. Rosa lands the Death Valley Driver for a near fall.
Rebel ran in and removed a turnbuckle, exposing the steel. Baker runs Rosa head first into and knocks her out. What a GREAT match!
