I brought this movie a while ago, as part of a deal, basically, three movies for £5.00, and added it just to make up my numbers as I had two I really wanted, wasn’t sure though if I would be impressed or not…

Impressed I was.

The movie begins with Michael (Jon Michael BisChof) who as just turned seventeen and is celebrating his birthday, with many of his friends and high school buddies. Alexandra (Gabriela Hassel) is a surprise party guests, both obviously having a crush upon each other in which develops as the movie progresses. Michael is then introduced to his surprise present from his friends, being an Ouija board. Tony (Juan Ignacio Aranda) is the prankster of the group and fools around with the Ouija board, as Michael is convinced to have a go upon it, until they are all thrown out by Michael’s mother…

It isn’t too long until, Michael begins to have nightmares… He then begins to visualise within his mind’s eye things that disturb him and causes him immense stress, and even subconsciously acts them out.

Poor Michael is convinced he is going insane and when an image of a face appears upon the television screen, one that is fuzzy, he sure as got to question his sanity, as I am sure I would.

It becomes apparent that his friends are being murdered by someone and the next to be murdered is, Cristy (Mindie McCullum). Michael must save her, as he has been warned of her death, however he is not believed, not even by Cristy’s brother, John (Roberto Palazuelos).

Michael becomes the suspect, even though he witnesses a crazed, Tony armed with a knife on the rampage.

And as regards, Michael and John, it seems they have never seen eye to eye, though they soon decide to join forces only after visiting, Tony’s apartment where they discover it trashed and blood stains here and there… A face again appears and this time upon Tony’s television screen and they both can see it and this time it claims to be Tony, his body being possessed by a demon that is doing all the killing…

The demon is on a rampage and it is soon down to just Michael to stop it before it kills him and more importantly his girlfriend Alexandra…

This is a movie of the power of the supernatural and how mind twisting it all can become when caught between the world of reality and the world of supernatural, a possible warning to wannabe Ouija board users… I do have a true brief story I will share with you, “Two ex work colleagues of mine use to fool around with Ouija boards, they both had an awful experience with them that shook them up really bad, one stating to never set foot in the house where they used the Ouija board…”

Well, you have been warned…

Rating: 8/10
