Lionsgate has released another installment of the Little Penguin series, featuring the voice talents of Pauly Shore and Jon Heder. The film is geared towards children and it hits the mark like the prior entry did. After reading Captain Silver’s adventures, Pororo and friends take on their own adventure.
The film hits the mark and the 80 minute adventure goes by quickly with interesting characters and good dialogue. There are a lot of similarities with this and shows like Backyardigans and children that enjoy that brand of entertainment and characters will really like this one, and what kid doesn’t enjoy an adventure?
Remarkably, the character development in this is pretty good. In movies like this, I tend to assume that there will be a lot of shallow characters but not here. They thought this one out and it all works.
THE LITTLE PENGUIN PORORO TREASURE ISLAND ADVENTURE is an adventure for the whole family and enjoyable but children will really get a lot from this. I recommend it.
