David Sauriol, Star of THE COWBOY AND THE TAVERN, SICKLE & SCARY TALES Passes Away

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Sauriol. In 2010, we filmed the original SCARY TALES and we were welcomed into the Sauriol home to shoot as much as we needed. This generosity transcended into other films, including SICKLE, which was filmed in 2011. In SICKLE, David was featured in a much more substantial role.

In 2012, I directed THE COWBOY AND THE TAVERN, a film where David would land the lead role. A long history in stage work and an impressive track record in film were only a small part of his story. David was a family man with children. It is a very sad situation.

It’s difficult to believe that David has passed away at such a young age. I send my condolences to the family and am honored that I had a chance to know him and work with him on my films. He will be missed.
