On Friday night, Roc Nation Sports heavyweight boxer Darmani Rock (15-0, 10 KOs) earned his second win of 2019, dominating Mike Bissett (15-12, 9 KOs) of Tampa, Fla. by second-round technical knockout. Rock remains undefeated with a perfect record of 15-0 with 10 KOs.
The bout, which was promoted by Hard Hitting Promotions, saw Rock defeat the Floridian early in the evening with a second-round technical knockout. This is Rock’s 10th KO of his professional career.
“I got the second-round knockout in my hometown,” said Rock. “I looked good, looked sharp. I’m feeling really good. Ready for the next battle.”
“Darmani is quickly establishing himself as the best young American Heavyweight prospect out there,” said Roc Nation Sports boxing promoter Dino Duva. “He can box, move and punch and has all the tools to be a true force and future champion if he continues this type of development he’s showing. With the recent resurgence of the Heavyweight division, the sky’s the limit for him. We’ll be getting him back in the ring as quickly as possible.”
Rock’s last match on February 8, 2019, saw the heavyweight fighter defeat Steven Lyons of Louisiana via knockout. This fight marks the Philly-native’s third consecutive bout in his hometown. This win continues Rock’s unblemished professional career and sets himself up for a higher caliber fight later in 2019.
