Cody Rhodes, with Arn Anderson in his corner, has issued an open challenge to defend his TNT Title. In his most recent defense, he overcame a game Sonny Kiss, but another side of the champion was shown. Rhodes used some heel tactics and was brutal in his attacks, leading to the victory.
Rhodes has been defending the title with regularity and taking on a lot of mid carders that would not be in the heavyweight title picture. The title is a great addition to the AEW brand and resembles that WCW TV title, which probably isn’t a coincidence. I’m looking forward to see who answers the open challenge.
