Three of Cups
The Three of Cups is a card of celebration. It’s a unification of minds, souls, spirits, love and laughter. Many times this is a card regarding female energy, sisterly bonds or fertility.
At times this could mean an actual childbirth or an announcement of a pregnancy in the near future. If you are invited to a baby shower for a woman in your life, go. Even if you consider her only an acquaintance of if there’s been tension between the two of you in the past, go anyways. You need female energy in your life and this is a perfect opportunity for you to connect not only with the birthmother, but other women who will be at the gathering.
If you’re the pregnant one and trying to determine whether or not to invite certain women to your shower, be as liberal and forgiving as you can. Don’t purposely invite negativity, but be open. You need this female energy in your life right now so welcome as many happy faces as you can.
If not a physical birth, this could be mean a birth of a new idea, proposal, job opportunity, relationship or a business all your own. Perhaps, you’re considering a move towards being your own boss. The Three of Cups indicates that you have the ability and knowhow, but you still need the support. Surround yourself with efficient, diplomatic, hardworking and most of all kindred spirits. You need people, preferably women in your life, who will nurture your ideas and help them evolve without changing your vision.
If in regards to a new relationship, try to befriend your current partner’s closest loved ones. Whether their best friends, family members, or colleagues – take that extra step to harbor goodwill. You may have some reservations due to the friends and family of past spouses, but don’t let that get in your way. Don’t allow your insecurities to keep you from pursuing deep friendships as these people will help you understand your new spouse and offer a very positive force in your blossoming union.
Whatever birth the Three of Cups is referring to, whether literal or figurative, you can’t do it alone. Surround yourself with a powerhouse group of trusted allies that have your back and are light on drama.
If you find that you’ve become a hermit and have no one available to hang out with, it’s time to get out and about again. Go to a retreat, start a gym membership, take a meditation class – whatever it takes to open that door, do it.
Your goals are attainable and happiness can easily be found if you just have the right group of people on your side. If you have them in your life now, great! Don’t take them for granted and start making plans. If you don’t, that’s okay too. Just find some new peeps and make yourself a crew.
