This year has been a bumpy year for everyone in the world with the Covid-19 and the countless political debates that seem to saturate social media, but not all is lost! The holiday season is upon us and there are all sorts of cool things that are out for sale that could be a great gift for a loved one or for yourself.
So, I compiled a list of things that belong under the tree and in your online shopping cart for dear friend.

I am a huge fan of the BACK TO THE FUTURE SERIES and there has been a long clamoring for an edition that gives all of the behind the scenes, deleted scenes and extras that have been missing from other releases. It includes all three of the films and in 4K, giving the most beautiful presentation you could ask for.
Along with the presentation of the films being amazing, the collectors case that it comes with is a must own.

Alfred Hitchcock is one of the best filmmakers of all time and this is how he needs to be presented. It’s 4K and a lot of fun all around.

Looking for a few scares for you, family or a friend. You can’t do much better than this collection. Featuring 10 notable horror entries including: Get Out, The Purge, Ouija, Split, The Visit, Unfriended, Truth or Dare, The Boy Next Door, Happy Death Day, and Ma.
When it comes to the current horror scene, you cannot do better than this set, presented in a great case with nice artwork. It is packaged so that it doesn’t take up a lot of room on your shelf and every feature looks great on Blu-ray.

There are films that don’t always float on the mainstream but they earn their way through the quality and in this set, you get 10 of the best award-winning films that you could ask for. This is a must own for fans of classic comedy, when the focus wasn’t totally political. This time in SNL’s history was intended to make the audience laugh and it succeeds in doing so. I highly recommend this set!
GAMING
XBOX SERIES X
I can’t speak from experience, but this was something that I intended to buy but it’s out of stock everywhere. From what I’ve read, this is much like X BOX ONE, but there are plenty of new bells and whistles, including the backward compatibility with many games and 4K with up to 120 frames per second.
If you can find this and not get gouged on the price from those Ebay hustlers, I would get this one. If you’re listening Santa, you know where I live.
WINE
Carnivor Bourbon Barrel Aged Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Wine
Wine that is aged in bourbon barrels usually has my number and this newly released wine by Carnivor has everything that you have come to expect from Carnivore red wine. It’s super rich and full-bodied with a smoothness that brings relaxation in the best way. To me, it tastes like a much richer Apothic Brew.
Cooper & Thief Cellarmasters Red Wine Blend
One of my favorite wines is Cooper & Thief, which is aged in bourbon barrels and it has this great richness. It is aged for 3 months in the bourbon barrels. There is a certain warmth to it, which is great for the holiday. This is a great conversational wine, where you can just relax with a glass of it and make the holidays that much more joyous.
Apothic Inferno
I know you’re seeing a trend here with another wine that was aged in barrels. This time, it was aged in whiskey barrels. It’s not as rich as Carnivor or Cooper & Thief but it brings a certain spice to it that is very enjoyable. The great Apothic flavor with a little edge. It’s hard to beat that.
JUGGERNAUT CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Aged in French oak barrels, this cabernet is one of my favorites with some vanilla flavor and great overall taste. It is another good holiday wine with a certain spice to it and it’s one of my favorite cabernets.
