I love how Sammy Guevara sings along with Judas by Chris Jericho’s band “Fozzy.” The Inner Circle is so much fun.
The Best Friends attack early and aggressively on Guevara and Jericho, looking for revenge for what happened to Orange Cassidy. Best Friends put their #1 contender status on the line in this match tonight and that might backfire on them.
The Best Friends are controlling the majority of the action and there were several near falls, but Jericho gets the Walls of Jericho in on Trent, but he makes it to the bottom rope. Jericho yells at the ref that he “Sucks” and the ref replies “no, you suck.” This is hilarious stuff.
While the referee is preoccupied with Jericho and Chuck Taylor, Guevara hits Trent with a bat, but can’t make it count and Trent is able to land his finisher to get his 1-2-3 to retain their #1 status.
A cameraman enters the ring and it’s Orange Cassidy, looking for revenge and faces off with Chris Jericho. At Fyter Fest, Cassidy will take on Chris Jericho. AEW keeps getting better.
