(Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the Blu-ray I reviewed in this blog post.  The opinions I share are my own.)

On October 13th, CATS & DOGS 3: PAWS UNITE! will be released on Blu-ray and DVD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.  It is the third entry in the franchise that started in 2001 and it is not a bad follow up and continuation in the series.

Zoe (Sarah Giles), a teenager, has a cat named Gwen and a fellow classmate, Max, that owns a dog named Roger.  Roger and Gwen are part of a group called F.A.R.T and are in charge of keeping the peace between the cats and dogs.  They are part of the surveillance branch of the group, but that soon changes when another group called P.O.O.P emerges to impact the order of things.

Pablo the Parrot (George Lopez) is not happy that he’s been ignored at the pet store and passed over by the people for cats and dogs.  So, he, along with his friend, Zeke the Tegu Lizard (Paul Dobson), have manipulated technology to impact the cats and dogs, pushing them to fight each other and shift the popular pets from cats and dogs to other alternatives.

Roger and Gwen, along with another dog, Duke, are now on the hunt for the perpetrators of the attack.  Meanwhile, their owners, Zoe and Max are starting to connect and are helping each other with their journeys to be a tennis star and rocker.

The trio of pets tracks down Pablo and a final battle occurs.  Following a GPS, Max and Zoe find the pet store and everything goes crazy, leading to a memorable showdown and an unexpected battle.

CATS & DOGS 3: PAWS UNITE! is a good movie for kids and not a bad watch for adults.  My 10-year-old daughter really enjoyed it and laughed a lot.  That is the target audience and it hits it.  I recommend it.
