Academy Award and Golden Globe-winning actress Helen Mirren joined MMA legend and Combate Americas fighter Tito Ortiz to watch Combate Americas’ MMA star-studded world championship doubleheader on Friday, August 23 at Harveys Outdoor Arena in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Mirren, who had never attended an MMA event before, proudly posed with Ortiz, and said the event was “an extraordinary art and athletic expression.”
Tito Ortiz has been training for his much-anticipated showdown against Alberto del Rio in November, which will be his first fight with Combate Americas. The next Combate Americas fight will be held on Friday, September 20 in Mexicali, B.C, Mexico.
