I was recently contacted by filmmaker Michael Bonomo regarding a movie on the verge of creation called “ASSASSINS.” Bonomo released a short, giving the viewer just a taste of what to expect from this film, and if this is any indication, I suspect that we are in for a treat.
Bill Oberst JR plays Nathan, a seasoned assassin, counseling a new assassin, Walter, played by Vincente DiSanti. I was immediately impressed with the writing…the key element to a good movie, but the way that Oberst delivered the lines was a thing of beauty. He is an actor with genuine presence and great delivery. Although DiSanti is not a bad actor, there is an obvious difference in ability. Oberst could probably read a menu and make it captivating.
I highly recommend everyone checking this out. I will be following this production as it begins. If Bonomo can maintain the strong writing throughout, then we may have a really good production. It has a world of promise.

I’m glad you mentioned Mike’s gift for dialogue; it is one the main things I enjoyed about this role and a big reason I’m looking forward to the feature film version of “ASSASSINS.” I think Bonomo is a great talent -nice to see his work on Scared Stiff.
