Alien Prey (1978) – Lesbian Sex Monster HORROR – MOVIE REVIEW

ALIEN PREY is an odd movie. We have these two lesbians: Jessica (Glory Annen) and Josephine (Sally Faulkner) living in this huge house. They take in a guy by the name of Anders (Barry Stokes), but he is a little off. Actually, the entire group is off, but Anders takes the cake.

Anders is an alien and develops a friendship with Jessica, which brings out the jealous side of Josephine. She begins making out with Jessica in front of him and you can tell that he isn’t a fan of PDAs. The relationship between the two ladies is controlling and abusive. Josephine is jealous and aggressive and that starts to push Jessica into the arms of Anders.

On the surface, Anders looks normal…unless they put him into women’s clothing, which they do, but when he begins to get into hunt mode, he transforms into a monster. Well, the special effects are not the best and the fangs and strange nose look funny, but it’s 1978 and you cannot expect perfection. I thought at times, when the lighting was right, he looked pretty cool.

Anders begins killing and eating all of the animals, including all of the chickens that Jessica and Josephine own. When the two fight over him, Jessica throws herself at Anders and they have some alien love, ending with her death. That alien love juice drove him crazy!

ALIEN PREY is a very strange film. The editor and director must have went with a “more is more” approach, letting a love scene and a near drowning scene trail on for a very long time. I kept saying: “I get it…the lesbians are having sex…” and “I get it…he’s drowning…” but it may have just been filler to get it to the feature length and if you are going to have filler, it’s not a bad idea to go with hot chicks making out.

I did really enjoy this movie. It was very odd, but very entertaining and I highly recommend it!

Rating: 7/10. Alien sex rules.
