It’s obvious to anyone who has tried—breaking into show business takes a lot of work. And no one knows this better than actress Denise Gossett, founder & director of the Shriekfest Horror Film Festival. But it seems that Ms. Gossett is seeing her efforts really paying off! This month she is shooting the Tom Hiddleston motion picture “I Saw the Light”.
The film which is set for a 2015 release is a biopic of the life of country music icon Hank Williams (Tom Hiddlesteon), based on the book “Hank Williams: The Biography,” by Colin Escott. Filmmakers have cooperation with the Hank Williams estate that gives the production use of his most memorable recordings. Directed by Marc Abraham and partially produced by Brett Ratner, this proves to be an exciting project.
Gossett just wrapped shooting “I Saw the Light” in Shreveport, LA., where she shares scenes with Tom Hiddleston as she plays the mother to Billie Jean whom Hank Williams eventually marries.
In addition to her acting work, Gossett runs the 15th annual Shriekfest and hosts the weekly radio show Shriekfest Radio!
