Available February at “100% No Cost!” to all iPad Users

This February, movie fans have the opportunity to test drive the new YEAH! iPad app from AMC Networks with the release of YEAH!’s Special Features Version of the original A Nightmare on Elm Street. This “100% No Cost!” complimentary film is available to all iPad users and includes YEAH!’s full interactive experience with new interviews, intimate stories, quizzes and polls while you watch.

Now through Feb. 28th, new and existing users will have the chance to watch the legendary 1984 film that launched a line of sequels.  With the YEAH! iPad app, users can watch interviews from the film’s iconic director, Wes Craven, actors Heather Langenkamp and Amanda Wyss, as well as from its composer Charles Bernstein.  Along with original interviews, YEAH! is giving fans access to exclusive stories and interactive extras that will bring a new light to an old classic, prompting Wes Craven to say, “I learned things about my movies even I didn’t know!”

YEAH! is a unique storytelling medium that goes beyond mere trivia to weave intimate moments and commentary from a who’s who of creators and stars (listed below) into a rich, immersive narrative about the making of and continued appreciation of iconic films. Director Richard Linklater hails YEAH! as “a film geek paradise” and Entertainment Weekly recently added YEAH! to its Must List, calling it “the only time we’ve really loved a know-it-all!”

To access the film, users can download the YEAH! app on the iPad (or via the website, www.yeahmovies.com) for free on the App Store on iTunes.  Then, sign-up or sign-in to redeem A Nightmare on Elm Street on us (popcorn not included).
