The holiday film A CHRISTMAS INVITATION has become a viral hit on Tubi, PlutoTV, and Amazon Prime Video and has become a hit film festivals. The latest recognition given is an “OFFICIAL SELECTION” at THE CHRISTMAS FILM SHOWCASE FESTIVAL.
Cinema Epoch is proud to announce the release of new comedy movie “A Christmas Invitation” on the TUBI, PlutoTV, and Amazon Prime Video Streaming Platforms. Available to watch now, the TV-PG rated film was written and directed by Massachusetts filmmaker Geno McGahee and produced by Cinema Epoch, Cineridge Entertainment and Xposse Productions.
“I wanted to make a film that hit home. Growing up in a dysfunctional family gave me just the right start for this production and I think everyone that watches this will walk away relating to it in some way,” said writer and director Geno McGahee upon releasing “A Christmas Invitation” to global audiences.
At a playtime of 1 hour, 41 minutes, the movie tells the story of a dysfunctional family brought together through a dying wish and an invitation to one last family holiday party. Old family feuds and skeletons in the closet – alongside a healthy dose of unexpected plot twists – make “A Christmas Invitation” a wholesome treat for holiday movie time.
Otherwise known for acclaimed horror films such as Rise of the Scarecrows: Hell On Earth, Scary Tales: Dead Zone, Scary Tales: Dark Walker, Fatal Justice and Deadly Western, McGahee switched genres for the film: “For the first time, I put my horror mind on break to bring some holiday cheer,” the director told followers on Twitter.
Headed for worldwide release across major streaming platforms before end of 2022, “A Christmas Invitation” is starring Brent Northup (Deadly Western), Eric Michaelian (Fatal Justice), Lorrie Bacon (Rise Of The Scarecrows: Hell On Earth), Phil Godeck (Super Duper Heist Squad), Matt Hebert (Rise Of The Scarecrows: Hell On Earth), Jesse Delta Ariel Waegelein-Hall (Scary Tales: Dark Walker), Aaron Schacht, Sharon Marr (Deadly Western), Rick Caride (Scary Tales: Dead Zone), Nat Cook (Scary Tales: Dark Walker), Angela Taylor, Pawel Watracz (Rise of the Scarecrows), Zoe Wells, Lisa J.
