Yo, check this out. I’m getting ready for Halloween by exploring horror movies I find on Tubi. Every other month, I usually teach men how to be a man’s man. A man’s man knows how to slap on cologne and knows how to cook spaghetti. A man’s man has traits that separates them from the pack. Now, a man’s man also knows how to pick out horror movies for Halloween binge watching.
AMITYVILLE COP is a movie about this police officer that submits to the devil and is now raising hell in the city. He is determined to put his old friends on blast when he returns for a Halloween party at the police station and what fun this movie is.
Directed by Gregory Hatanaka and written by Geno McGahee, AMITYVILLE COP showcases talent such as Chris Spinelli, Jason Toler, Nicole D’Angelo, Lovie Johnson, Jeffrey Moon, Lisa London and Laurene Landon. Now, Landon was in another evil cop movie you may know. MANIAC COP is about a man’s man that gets sent to prison and comes back in demonic form to kick ass. Obviously AMITYVILLE COP is a big tribute to that film. YA HEARD!
Now, big props to the producers of this film and the writer. Toler brings the comedy and the action and D’Angelo is one tough detective as she keeps Toler in line and fights against the demon cop. Lisa London always brings it and does a great job here. Lovie Johnson, the Amityville Cop himself, launches a possible future horror icon with his scary and memorable role.
When you mix LETHAL WEAPON and DEMONS with a man’s man, you get AMITYVILLE COP, a fun horror film that I highly recommend.
