Logan Paul went the full 8 rounds. That’s a victory in and of itself, but the audience was not happy as they booed the entire fight and the dullness of it. Floyd Mayweather, JR., 50-0 as a pro, didn’t really try to get the job done. He might or might not be making 100 million from this fight, but he didn’t give the fans their money’s worth.
Paul, the 0-1 pro, did what he could. He is as limited as his record would suggest and it didn’t take long for it to become a clinch-fest as Floyd got close and Paul held on. In the first two rounds, Floyd did nothing. In round three, Floyd began working the body and landed a good body shot or two, but Logan was never really in any trouble. People might say that Floyd carried Paul and that might be true for the first two rounds, but he was looking for the KO and it never came. Credit must be given to the boxing novice for hanging tough.
Well for everyone that spent the 49.99, this might be a lesson on all future “fights” from Floyd Mayweather, JR. Have we not learned from the Manny Pacquiao fight? Apparently not. Hopefully this will bring the point home that you will be ripped off. For Paul, this is nothing but positive. He can build on this no matter who he fights next.
