Hangman Page starts off the show in a match with John Silver of the Dark Order. There has been a slight friendship growing between the Dark Order and Page with Silver admiring him. Silver is quickly jumping in popularity from his YouTube work on Being the Elite.
Evil Uno! I’m so happy Evil Uno is here tonight. There is not enough of Evil Uno on Dynamite. Give that man the world title!
Silver is hilarious and is trying to make friends with Page and it’s kind of working, despite the resistance from Page. The Hangman needs friends at this point and the Dark Order is always there.
Silver is another reason why AEW needs a cruiserweight title. The amount of smaller guys that they have would make one hell of a tournament. He is doing quite well against the bigger Page, but the Hangman is controlling it down the stretch.
Page’s offense is getting a lot of near falls. Page has to adjust to the smaller size of Silver, considering his recent opposition in Kenny Omega, Wardlow and Colt Cabana has been bigger guys.
What a great show by Silver! He countered the Buckshot Lariat and then landed a brain buster to get a near fall. Page is hulking up and telling Silver to kick him and it’s not having any impact. This match is incredible. Page finally lands the Buckshot Lariat on the second attempt to get the 3 count in a great match.
The Dark Order invades and Evil Uno is trying to convince Page to join. Page would be a great fit and give the group even more credibility.
