Chris Jericho is not in a good mood after his defeat to Orange Cassidy. Jake Hager is in his corner and they are ready to take on the big underdogs, Sonny Kiss and Joey Janela. Janela wants some revenge for the beating his took at the hands of Jericho last week.
Kiss and Janela start off quick and Janela has gotten in more offense than he did in their singles match last week. With no DQ, Janela is taking advantage of it by using a chair. It backfires and Jericho finally gets some control in the match.
I’m surprised that Hager and Jericho are honoring the rules of a tag team. I thought they’d both be in the ring and just destroying the competition, but they are treating it like a real tag match.
Sonny Kiss is getting the better of Hager and Jericho, but he can’t hold them off forever. Hager is now in control, but Janela comes in to change the momentum. Hager and Jericho double-team Janela through a table and it was very impressive.
Sonny is having a good night but Jericho uses a fire extinguisher on Kiss, leading to a huge slam and 3 count for Hager and an Inner Circle victory.
Jericho grabs the microphone for a great promo and he talks about Jericho and Hager being the next tag team champions.
