The security is set up in the same fashion as they were when Mike Tyson took on Lennox Lewis, keeping the participants away from each other until opening bell. Perhaps a nod to Tyson who is in the house.
DOUBLE OR NOTHING has been great, but there have been continued technical difficulties throughout. It’s getting annoying.
Brodie Lee is ready to rumble, smirking at the champion as Moxley paces. Lee starts early, putting the hurt on Moxley. Moxley rebounds. This is a war that quickly moves to outside of the ring. Lee is putting on the punishment and trying to represent the Dark Order the best he can.
Lee walks over to the Librarians and throws their table over, prompting them both to scream. It was hilarious. Lee would then continue the attack, planting Moxley on the metal railing outside. This is just a brawl between two big men.
Moxley lands a piledriver to a near fall. Lee is starting to wilt as Moxley gets the momentum. Brodie Lee is undefeated in AEW, but he’s not taking on a guy like Moxley and he’s feeling the difference in this match.
Brodie Lee lands the powerbomb and gets a 2 count, shocking him. He screams “NO!” three times, shocked at the resilience of the champion. What is with the broadcast tonight? There is so much digital interference with it….hard to watch.
Moxley lands the DDT outside of the ring on the stage, putting Lee through the stage. The doctors come out to check on the combatants. Lee is split open and gets hit with the DDT again and then again, but Lee keeps kicking out.
Moxley is not choking out Lee. Lee passes out and Moxley retains the title in a great match.
