Super lightweight Yvez Ulysse, JR., 17-1, 9 KO’s, used his superior skill and hard right hand to control and cruise to an easy 8 round unanimous decision win over Maximilliano Becerra, 16-3, 8 KO’s, by scores of 79-71, 78-72 (twice).
Ulysse, JR., controlled the fight, but landed a hard right hand in the sixth round that put Becerra down. He got up. In the seventh, another right hand directly on the chin would put Becerra down again. He got up but was visibly hurt. He fought on, but didn’t have the skill or power to deal with Ulysse, JR., and was almost down again in the final round. It was an easy win for Ulysse.
