Recently released, Yurei’s new album “Saudade” was a real nice piece of music, featuring 8 tunes that all find a way to hit an emotion of the listener. It’s just quality stuff and is able to get the point across without vocals. This is the sort of music that you just listen to and have a glass of wine and feel what they are putting down.
I bring up the wine because that is exactly how I enjoyed this music. It varies from very mellow stuff to some harder stuff, but not too hard. The intentions of Yurie and the others involved in this collection of tunes aren’t hidden. This is meant to make you feel one emotion or another, and I found the entire listening experience very relaxing. There was a calming vibe all around here even when the tempo picked up and we had more aggression in the tunes.
If you have a hard time relaxing like the man writing this review, this is something that you want to check out. I was really impressed at the focus and soothing impact it had. I highly recommend this one.
