Where’s the Zombie BOOK REVIEW – Where’s Waldo Meets NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD

I have two children and one is into zombies (my 3-year-old daughter Jules) and one is into seek and find sort of books (my son Munch). So, when I got WHERE’S THE ZOMBIE to review, I elected to first go through it with my young daughter and she was absolutely delighted with the amount of zombies that she could find.

My son immediately wanted the book and enjoyed it as well. So, if you have children that like zombies or seek and finds, then this book is the perfect item to get them. The basic storyline of the book is that the Peters family has been reported missing and the readers have to find them before the virus spreads. As you go through the book, you are met with just great visuals. You can tell that the author, Jen Wainwright and illustrator, Paul Moran, have a great respect for the zombie sub-genre of horror. They have packaged it in a way that makes it enjoyable for adults and safe for children to view. Sure, not all 3-year-old girls are zombie-crazy like my daughter, but that’s OK. I think that all kids will find joy in this book.

There are 48-pages and for $9.95, you really can’t go wrong. The book is great family fun and everybody knows somebody that likes zombies. This is a perfect addition to their library. Even if you are not searching for anything, you can just enjoy the artistry used here. Crashed airplanes, grocery stores and the mall are just some of the locations that you get to see the living dead do their thing.

WHERE’S THE ZOMBIE is a must have for any zombie fan and much fun for kids and adults. I highly recommend it.
