The 6 foot, 7 inch, cruiserweight, Tommy Fletcher, 4-0, 3 KO’s, took on career no-hoper, Darryl Sharp, 7-97-1, 1 KO, in a fight that stunk up the arena.
From the opening round, Sharp showed absolutely zero effort in the ring, looking only to survive. Fletcher jabbed and tried to corner him and land, but there was no response from Sharp. He was there to avoid damage and survive and he did just that.
There should probably be a fine given to Sharp for a non-effort and Fletcher’s team should have never paired the two unless they have no faith in their cruiserweight hopeful. Hat a bad fight that went to the cards and was 60-54, judged by the referee.
