The Inner Circle comes out and Chris Jericho starts complaining about his 7000 dollar jacket being destroyed. He talks about his match with the Jurassic Express and the revenge he’s got planned.
The Young Bucks find the Butcher and the Blade in the kitchen as they do their day job as butchers, apparently. The action backstage is great…a throwback to the hardcore matches in the 1990s.
The group finds their way outside the arena and the Young Bucks get the edge when the Blade gets ran into a pillar. They drive a steal tray into the Butcher’s face. The Butcher and Blade take the advantage again.
Blade is thrown through a plexiglass cover at a concession stand. This is actually a really fun match, despite the fact that the Butcher and the Blade never win. The Young Bucks try to put the Butcher through a table and fail, but they do hurt him badly. The Blade gets a super kick from the Bucks and falls onto an escalator, going up as he is basically unconscious. That was a great spot.
The fight makes it to the ringside area. The Bucks are double teaming the Butcher as the Blade is MIA. The Blade returns and he brings a chair, striking the Bucks and they have the advantage, but it doesn’t last long. The Bucks are using their high-flying to keep the edge in this crazy match.
The Blade does a flying leap to the outside and misses everything, hitting the floor hard. It was a scary fall. The Butcher gets hit with a chair and it’s now 2 on 1. Remarkably the Blade is back, but he is favoring his back. They land a powerbomb – neckbreaker combo and go to the back to retrieve some tables.
It’s super kick city as the Bucks land several on the Butcher and Blade. Blade is placed on a table and land another super kick on the Butcher and he’s placed on a table. The Bucks are climbing high over the entrance ways, landing a double flying elbow on each guy and winning, taking the 3 count. It was a great match.
