Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has just released THE STAIRCASE: LIMITED SERIES on DVD with all eight episodes and plenty of bonus content, including “Inside the Episodes” featurettes.
THE STAIRCASE is a great watch with plenty of mystery as it follows Michael Peterson, a man suspected and convicted of killing his wife. After going to prison, Peterson asks for another trial and is granted one when some false testimony was proven. Now, out of prison, the story really kicks into gear and the true nature of the original death is explored.
The series keeps you guessing and isn’t afraid to give you some false information to make you think. It’s really a different sort of approach to a series that likes playing with the viewer a little bit and doesn’t always play it straight. I really enjoyed the approach and mystery with this.
THE STAIRCASE: LIMITED SERIES is an easy watch that is binge-worthy. It is shot so well and paced incredibly well. I highly recommend it.
