Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has just released a must have for anyone with the Christmas spirit. The Original Christmas Specials Collection features five animated classics that stand the test of time and are presented in the best way possible in a steelbook.
The set features Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus is Comin’ To Town, The Little Drummer Boy, Frosty the Snowman and Cricket on the Hearth. Considering that these great short films aren’t featured anymore on television, really, this is a must-own. I watched this as a child and my children watched them as well and I’m sure it will go on to their children. This are ageless and they really don’t make them like this anymore.
The presentation is crisp on Blu-ray and the sound is just great. There was a lot of TLC from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment as they put this out. Each tale is enjoyable and features great voice artists and stars of the time. I cannot recommend this enough. This is something you own and just press play for the entire family to enjoy.
It is now available and the steelbook is limited edition and probably won’t last very long. I would highly suggest picking it up quick and let the Christmas spirit loose in your home.
