Horror is often associated with haunted houses and the dark woods, but when the bright lights of the casino come into play, it brings a new element into the genre. In 2007, HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES star, Sid Haig, and THE HILLS HAVE EYES star, Michael Berryman, came together to combine the bright lights of a casino with plenty of scares in THE HAUNTED CASINO.

Much like horror films, casinos thrill people in real life. At real world locations like the Bellagio and MGM Grand, millions of people enjoy gambling and entertainment each year. People now seek the same casino thrills online at https://theinternetslots.com/ca/first-deposit-bonus-casino/ and other online casino environments. In some aspects, online gaming has been the choice because the players can stay in the comfort of their own home.

In WISHMASTER 2, the horror villain “The Djinn”, an ancient evil, grants wishes in exchange for souls. When a wish is made, it never turns out as hoped and his true darkness is revealed. In WISHMASTER 2, the Djinn is seeking 1001 souls to launch the apocalypse with the final showdown taking place at a casino, once again showing the way that a setting can be a character. The Djinn walking through the bright lights of a casino is a very memorable sight.

Other movies like LEPRECHAUN 3 bring a supernatural monster to the casino. This time, the leprechaun heads to Las Vegas, Nevada. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, including the trail of bodies that the little monster left behind.

With the popularity of online gaming and casinos, it can be expected that there will be more horror films placed in that setting. It has proven to be an added bit of excitement to the genre.
