Lionsgate has just released the action film, THE GARDENER, On Demand, Digital and DVD. The film is a home invasion thriller with a twist. Former soldier, Juhasz (Robert Bronzi), is the only thing stopping the mayhem from the sadistic Volker (Gary Daniels).
The gang, led by Volker, has their eyes on a home of a dysfunctional family with hopes to rob and kill them. The film does showcase Bronzi really well and his action scenes are pretty believable as he takes on the goons. The goons could have used to some work. They weren’t very good at their jobs.
Daniels does a great job playing up the role of the villain. He is over the top and is obviously having a lot of fun in the role. His loud approach is a good contrast to the quiet style of Bronzi.
THE GARDENER is a really decent action-home invasion film. I really enjoyed the performances of Bronzi and Daniels. I recommend it.
