The Cinema Snob: Nudies, Rudies & Crudies

By Melissa Antoinette Garza

I most certainly needed a laugh yesterday and was absolutely thrilled when my copy of Nudies, Rudies & Crudies came in.  It seems whenever I attempt to work extra hours at work, something happens and I need to leave early.  Yesterday was such a day.

So, when I arrived home, my husband Stephen went out to get us Chinese food, and then we both sat back and enjoyed the genius of Brad Jones.  I adore the character of The Cinema Snob. He’s just hilarious.  I’ve spoken at length about him before because of much I enjoy the show and wish there was something of that caliber on regular television as my cable bill keeps going up, but there’s nearly zero watchable content.

Nudies, Rudies & Crudies includes four never before seen episodes.  In these four, all explicit scenes are shown without the black box that is typically placed over the nudity.  Although after watching the episodes, one may miss and forever be grateful for that black box.

The first film examined is about a female reporter who is sent in to spy on a nudist colony, but rather than come back with an expose returns to her boss with an article celebrating how nice everyone is.  Not being able to have that, he too goes undercover to see what the nudist colony is all about.

The second listed is Jailbait Babysitter which is one of the strangest films.  One of the scenes involves a young woman’s boyfriend basically chastising her for not wanting to be a part of two other people having sex in front of her.  I won’t go into more detail than that, because I don’t want to spoil any of the material of Jones, but it’s definitely a messed up movie.

Less confusing oddly is The Infernal Rapist which though not in English is given very helpful subtitles.  Those familiar with The Cinema Snob will understand.  Those not, start watching The Cinema Snob!  It’s about a guy who is sent to the electric chair when these spiritual women stop his execution.  He then goes on a crazy murderous spree with the officers, hot on his trail (or not).

Lastly, is 48 Hours of Hallucinatory Sex.  Is there a plot to this one?  I’m not sure.  There’s a lot of sex.  There’s a very odd and disturbing reunion between two exes who are reconnecting.  There’s a movie within a movie about a bunch of people having sex.  There’s a parrot.  No, there’s no plot, but listening to The Cinema Snob’s commentary, as always, had me in tears I was laughing so much.

The DVD is filled with extras.  All of The Snob Riffs are hilarious!  Just watch them.

Flaming Brian’s Kitchen is definitely a highlight, where three grown men take turns eating Pure Cap in chili, on crackers etc.  It’s just ridiculous to see these guys do this to themselves.  The actual show has a purpose for those who enjoy hot sauce and are searching for something they haven’t tried before.  I’ve never been a hot sauce person but I still get so much enjoyment from the reactions when the impact of the sauce used is more than expected.

Also, there’s Angry Jake and Brad Jones providing a Midnight Screening of My Little Pony Equestria Girls.  I loved the toys when I was a kid but never bothered with the show and never even knew about the theatrical release of this film.  I’m glad now.  Just like Jesus, Angry Jake and Brad Jones sacrificed themselves so that we don’t have to…not that any of us really would anyways.  Still, it’s hilarious to see them describe the empty plot and what they thought of the movie.  I’ll give you a hint – they didn’t enjoy it.

I can’t recommend this enough.  I think I laughed most with The Infernal Rapist episode but as usual every single one is great!

Shipping was extremely fast and the price can’t be beat.  Buy it here:  http://walkawayentertainment.com/products.html

Scared Stiff Rating:  10/10  I’ll be watching it again and again!

  1. Thank you so much for the kind words!! I’m really glad you enjoyed our DVD!! It was very fun to put together =)

  2. This one wasn’t too bad, however I think I prefer the Public Domain Month DVD, the BEST OF collection. I do look forward to more DVDs like these in the future. Fingers crossed for more Sci-Fi and Horror, though.
