FTR use the typical runway to come out to the ring considering that the Lucha Bros stole their truck last week. This is the first time ever teaming with the Young Bucks and apparently the first time that they were in the ring with each other at all. They had a Twitter war over the years and now they’ll finally have an opportunity to settle it in AEW, but tonight, they are partners.
FTR starts the match and are dominant immediately over the Lucha Bros. They are not tagging in the Young Bucks. There might be trouble in paradise immediately. The Lucha Bros start using their tag team moves to get the edge.
The Young Bucks force the tag and the rivalry between them and the Lucha Bros re-ignites. It doesn’t last long as the Blade is tagged in. The Butcher and Blade are desperately in need of something to save them. They are jobbers but have potential. They need to go back to the drawing board.
The Young Bucks and the Lucha Bros together are magic. They do amazing high-flying moves together. And now the Bucks are starting to work well with FTR. Matt Jackson is destroying everyone. It’s some very impressive high-flying stuff from Jackson.
The Bucks and FTR are working together really well now. They team up to land the spike pile driver on the Blade, leading to a near fall. The four men land huge top rope move on the Blade for another near fall, broken up by Fenix.
The moves in this match from these guys are amazing. Fenix does an over the top rope Canadian destroyer to the outside on top of all the other wrestlers. The Lucha Bros land their finisher on Jackson to get the 3 count and it happened! The Butcher and Blade have actually won a match.
