With the Xmas season right around the corner, I have discovered something that children will dig and I know because my wife read this to the children she cares for and they quite liked it. The age range for the book is around 2-4, featuring great illustrations by Elsa Klever and a great story by Sara Trofa.
The story is about a taxi driver named Victor that doesn’t do such a great job. He picks up customers and brings them to the wrong place, but everything turns out much better as each customer gets a new experience that they enjoy. The book is about diversity and happiness and just liking each other and that is something that anyone can get behind. You add in that this is a space taxi, it’s even that much more fun considering that the characters that Victor is picking up are aliens and have very unique appearances.
I highly recommend TAXI RIDE WITH VICTOR by Sara Trofa and illustrated by Elsa Klever. It is great for kids and the art is fun all around. So if you got a kid or a grandkid or if you are a kid at heart that likes aliens, this is something to put under the tree this Christmas for sure.
