Luca Guagadnino’s remake of the 1977 Dario Argento cult classic Suspiria just set a 2018 box office record for best opening per theater before it goes wide this coming weekend. The update, which stars Tilda Swinton, Dakota Johnson, Mia Goth and Chloë Moretz, is set at a prestigious dance academy, and, as in the original, involves grisly murders and the supernatural.
