Bringing some much needed feel-good vibes, Indie-Pop group Sub-Radio are honored to share their new single “Cool” with fans today. “This song is for anyone who has struggled with identity,” shares drummer Michael Pereira in an exclusive interview with The Girls At The Rock Show. “If you’ve ever said to yourself ‘I don’t feel comfortable in my own skin,’ we’ve been there. We want you to know that we see you, we are proud of you, and want to tell you how Cool you are.“
Fans can check out the track, which was produced by Mike Kamerman (guitarist of Smallpools) ahead of it’s wide release tomorrow at https:// thegirlsattherockshow.com/ exclusive-premiere-sub-radio- shares-new-heartfelt-track- cool/.
“Cool” joins recently released single “Disco” from the six-piece’s forthcoming EP Thoughts Lights Colors Sounds, due out May 22nd. “This EP is about embracing the full spectrum of emotion that’s in you,” shares the band. “We wrote some pretty bleak songs that sound happy, and some hopeful songs that sound like a downer. We think all those things can coexist together.”
This will be their first release since last year’s Dog Years EP. Produced by Dylan Bauld (Flor, Halsey, LIGHTS) and mixed by Andrew Maury (Shawn Mendes, COIN, Post Malone), Dog Years shows Sub-Radio fully embracing different styles, textures and energies throughout 5 cohesive tracks. Sub-Radio is Adam Bradley (vocals), Matt Prodanovich (guitar, vocals), Michael Pereira (drums), John Fengya (keys, guitar, vocals), Barry Siford (bass) and Kyle Cochran (guitar, keys).
