Darby Allin does a great segment where he talks about his next challenger, Brian Cage, and the history that they’ve had. That will be his next TNT title defense and he will have his hands full. Cage has always come out on top when the two faced off.
Cody Rhodes is in the ring and is getting interviewed by Tony Schiavone, but it doesn’t last long as Sting’s music and cool video begins. Sting’s entrance is very cool and it’s nice to see him AEW, where he will be treated right. Sting seems happy tonight and is feeling the crowd and moment.
Arn Anderson decides to leave and I can’t blame him. Sting has beaten him up before. Sting is so excited. It shows. Cody notes that he has been waiting to share a ring with Sting for years, but he tells Cody that he’s not in AEW for him. Sting makes a respectful motion to Darby Allin.
Sting and Cody are taking little jabs at each other. It’s pretty entertaining. Having Sting back on TNT is GREAT!
