Renowned producer and musician Smokeasac has teamed up with Blink-182’s Travis Barker for his new single “Insomnia”. The track and accompanying video can be seen now at this link: https://smokesac.lnk.to/Insomnia

“I wrote “Insomnia” about having to spend long nights away from your loved ones and the emotions that go along with it,” Smokeasac said. “I recorded this song in London right after I got off of tour, where I was facing long sleepless nights away from the comforts of home.”

Smokeasac is a revolutionary producer and musician, who innovated the blending of rock and rap. He is most recognized for his work with friend and collaborator Lil Peep including producing Come Over When You’re Sober Part 1 & 2. Part 1’s “Awful Things” and “Benz Truck” have both been RIAA certified gold records, and Come Over When You’re Sober Part 2 debuted #4 on the Billboard charts.

This is just a taste of new music that will be rolled out in 2020 for Smokeasac, a Boston, MA native who has settled in Los Angeles, CA as his producing projects and solo career continue to skyrocket. Smokeasac and Travis Barker deliver a refreshing and modern approach to alternative music, showcasing Smokeasac’s diversity as an artist.

“I wanted Travis Barker to be a part of the song, because he has been someone I’ve always looked up to and was one of my inspirations to get into music, so it is a tremendous honor to have him a part of the song,” Smokeasac explained.
