If you like cheesy movies have I got one for you. “Skin Eating Jungle Vampires” is about as bad as a movie gets. I have to believe it was shot on VHS and a very low quality VHS camera at that. This is a sexplotation film with a very weak story” although I don’t really believe story was the concern. It is the story of a UFO that crashes into a volcano in the jungle and the leader of some scantily clad women “Dr. Creepo” must have gifts of women brought to him. Dr. Creepo is for sure a creep, but at the same time I found him pretty entertaining in his cheesiness. It basically turns into an orgy of women on women with no story line. It is what it is I guess.
I’ve seen this type of movie in independent film time and time again. You have a creepy guy who can’t get a date or woman to look at him in real life, so he writes a script where he is some sort of god that women can’t resist and women fawn all over him in the film. Very unbelievable but hey, these ladies are gonna be stars!!! Right??
Kudos to these nerdy guys who are clever enough to do that. Hell, I’m going to start my script now where I’m irresistible to women! Why didn’t I think of this in high school?
I don’t mean to knock any ones intentions, but I guess I just did. I think the character of Dr. Creepo could be expanded into a pretty good comedy character. As creepy and weird as he is, he is also somewhat likable and I personally would like to see him in a more mainstream type of movie. I actually liked the goofy special effects with the UFO in this one too.
Not a good movie but if you like soft porn that is somewhat blurry watch “Skin Eating Jungle Vampires”. Come to think of it, I don’t think I saw them eat any skin…Ohh well!
