As good as Serena Deeb is, Thunder Rosa is a superstar. Rosa just has this aura about her and I suspect her to own the division in the future.
Rosa takes the early edge and is putting on the punishment. She is focusing on the limbs of the champion, looking to wear down and defeat Deeb. Deeb is using some mat wrestling to stay competitive but Rosa is still in control.
Deeb is using uppercuts she is having a hard time keeping Rosa down. Rosa is on top of her game and is even playing to the crowd, noting that she is “the champion baby.” Deeb finally get into the match, but she is having a hard time retaining momentum of any kind.
Rosa is amazing. Her offense feels real. Deeb finally lands a neck breaker to get some momentum going. She lands a spear to get the near fall. The champion is doing all she can to retain the title. Reba proves a distraction and Britt Baker attacks Rosa. It still wasn’t enough to keep Rosa down.
Deeb, remarkably, lands her face driving finisher to get the 1-2-3 count and retains her NWA title.
