Last night, the town of Three Rivers in Massachusetts felt the chill of four horror films. The Scared Stiff Halloween Horror Film festival 2013, headed up by horror filmmaker Geno McGahee, was the first of its kind in the area. The lineup featured a cannibal – vampire love story with CALL ME CRAZY, a mystery thriller in THE CABIN, a supernatural monster movie with MISTER WHITE and a throwback 80’s slasher with BLOOD SLAUGHTER MASSACRE.
The night brought the best of indie horror and the Halloween spirit. McGahee noted that “the films were outstanding and bringing them to the area and pushing the genre forward was great. All four films were very well put together and entertaining and I have a feeling that these filmmakers will be making big waves in the near future.”
It was a great night for horror, the Halloween spirit and indie film. The SCARED STIFF HALLOWEEN HORROR FILM FESTIVAL proved to be a success.
