Sammy Guevara of the Inner Circle was scheduled to face Matt Hardy this Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, but that will not happen after some of Guevara’s comments from the past came back to bite him. Guevara made some very inappropriate comments about WWE star, Sasha Banks, and has since apologized, but he must still pay the price.
AEW made the following statement concerning Guevara:
“AEW insists on doing our part to create a world of understanding and respect for humankind. We therefore strongly condemn the extremely offensive and hurtful words of Sammy Guevara,” AEW said in the statement. “Sammy has agreed to undergo extensive sensitivity training and, upon completion, his future status within the company will be evaluated.”
The wrestling world has been taking a hit lately with Guevara, Jimmy Havoc facing rape allegations and Jim Cornette proving to be a bigger shithead than most think he is, forcing indie wrestlers to bang his wife while he watches and pleasures himself, allegedly.
So, as a big Guevara fan, I hope he can learn from this and get back to AEW in the near future and be known for positive things and comments rather than this mess.
